The Triple Moon Gate Stone Archway - This stone circle archway with flanking smaller circles has no reinforcements hidden inside, this structure relies on weight, gravity and compression to stay up. The arch is built over a wooden template then once the top keystone is in place the wooden template is removed allowing the stones to compress against each other and lock the structure in to place appearing to defy gravity. We fully stress test our arches by standing on top of them.

little about our history
Back in 1999 Mike the elder of two brothers come of age and shortly after became a father at only 19 years old. The younger brother Gary was a mathematician and well organised, the older brother Mike was highly creative, physically strong and resilient whom at the time was desperate to find a way to support his new born child and spent a couple of years trying different jobs and business ideas but none would last.
In 2002 the brothers parent’s small engineering business was struggling to stay open due to cheap imports that had started flooding the country, despite being inferior products they put the boys’ parents out of business.
The older brother Mike now about 22 years old saw the disaster coming therefore a year or so before the business closed he convinced his younger brother Gary to help him set up a business for their parents to migrate to once the engineering company closed for good.
The brothers decided that it would be nice to work outside and create beautiful things, seeing as they all had basic engineering abilities, experience helping develop the family home growing up as children and a love of designing and creating outside spaces they decided on a hard landscaping company.
So for a year or so the whole family got on board juggling the closure of the engineering company whilst planting the seeds and growing a garden design and hard landscaping service.
First acquiring the most affordable tools to perform the most basic tasks associated with garden maintenance, then as profits started generating the first major investment was made in a three seated white van that carried the business forward for the first five years.
The business started with small maintenance and clearance work by the two brothers, their father and anyone that needed to earn some extra cash whenever they needed the extra manpower, their mother would man the phones and take on the paper work and finances, it was the perfect team so the business slowly started growing and the rest is history.
What did they do?...
The birth of a child, a change in economics & love of outside spaces drove Stonemason Landscapes
to what it is today.

We also do not publish individual project prices, as two projects can look virtually identical when finished but require very different levels of groundwork, access, drainage, underground services, material handling and construction. Material prices, fuel, disposal costs and labour costs also change over time with inflation and the cost of living, meaning the price of a previous project may no longer represent its cost today. Publishing another client’s price could therefore be misleading and create unrealistic expectations. Every project is assessed and priced according to its own individual circumstances and current costs.
